Pink World ~virtual ideas made real~

My group, Pink World, is going to be using accepted methods of communication to enlighten people, leading them to an immediate understanding of the supreme consciousness.  We hope to change and grow with and for the community... now for some rock and roll:

You can keep my things, they've come to take me home.-Peter Gabriel

Seven horses seem to be on the mark.-The Doors

We hope to change and grow with and for the community.  By using scientific inquiry and emotional responses we have drawn up a plan of action to be realized by the members of our elite  group.   We are ready to confront the issues head on.  We have drawn up a manifesto of sorts to explain our views of what the problems are and what we will attempt to accomplish by aiding the community.  The social function of our group will be to use artistic methods to rejoin the community and to heighten the awareness of each member.

We can see the growing hostility and contempt for the existing media.  We will attempt to turn this around by making art and technology compatible.  We intend to develop a complex intended to be both entertaining and growth directed.  Practical demonstrations of innovations handed down to us throughout the history of theatre will lead us to an understanding of humaness needed to face the twenty first century.  This would have been impossible at any other time in this century, but we believe that now is the time to pull our knowledge together for the betterment of mankind.

This group intends to incite change.  Change that will lead us to an empowerment of the community, which will be a force heard around the world.  Our members will have an energy unsurpassed by any other organization in the history of the world.

Our voices will join together to create a new kind of theatrical experience.  Theatre is live representations of reported or invented happenings between human beings that will define the communion that we desire to illustrate for the greatest good of the community.

Communion between men and gods is the ultimate goal of our endeavor.  We will make indistinguishable the difference between the stage and life.

The theatre cannot remain superflous because we, as a human race, need to pinpoint our direction, and the best way for us to  attempt to do this is through representations in theatre.  The pleasure that we derive from our rituals is an essential part of life.  The masked inhibitions forced upon us by 20th century culture shock can be removed with the power of play.   A important human condition is the exploration imperative.  Seeking "new worlds" to conquer, whether they be outer (space) or inner (consciousness) will always be the key to tomorrow.

Nick Bantock, in "Sabine's Notebook", wrote for the character Griffin, the line, "Reason is discarded and I'm just going where the voices of the moment seems to send to send me."  We believe that this sentence describes the only logical course of action for the modern man.

We, the voices of this discourse, believe that is how character is developed.  In our theatre, time, space, and embodied thought will direct the course of the players, and of the audience, to actively seize the moment and ultimately to release themselves from the limits of matter.      The players and the audience will have the chance to exchange roles simultaneously.   The players will play an active part in the audience and the audience will not passively accept the limitations set by the separation of the stage and off-stage.  If we look at all the elements as they interplay, the only conclusion that we come to is that reality is derived from a combination of front-stage and back-stage.

They will co-exist in unstructured time.   Activity and fantasy is only inhibited by the limitations of mortal language.  Our inability to grasp concepts of the past and of the future will be dissolved.  We will only dream and act for the now.  Using rituals, pastimes, games and intimacy we will actively master the energy to change our lives.  FORCE = ENERGY = POWER.

Play is civilizing.  The community can reach conclusions about their own existence through our severence of the player (the audience) and the audience (the player).  We will provide the space for the restruction of the public mind sphere.  Our group, Pink World, believes in expression of an identity.

We also believe that we can combine the principles of each member of the community to form a cohesive whole, a unique expression of an identity.  We will dissolve the dividing line between stage and life to form a single "plaudience", the equivalent of spiritual gold, a richness that resides in each one of us.   To form a cohesive reaction to the blending of spiritual and the physical, mind and matter, idea and form, the concrete and the abstract is our dream.  There will be no wall between fantasy and reality.  The "fantastic" wll be real and "reality" will be fantastic.

As in the alchemical, our theatre of ultimate wisdom will combine characters, objects and images to create a "virtual reality" without the use of technology...  In the endless labryinth of self-reflection our group sees a civilizing bond.  This labryinth is composed of symbols.  If we allow ourselves to view each as a mirror of the 'other' we will be dramatically possessed to create a reflection that is socially, culturally, psychologically, historically and politically correct.  As in the alchemical, our theatre of ultimate wisdom will combine characters, objects and images to create a "virtual reality" without the use of technology..

Our group will stand up before opposition to show the world that in our community we are excited by the changes facing us today in this world.    The new world that we seek is in the theatre of the mind.  In this theatre, Pink World will stress togetherness.  We will build scenes that say and show what is needed to fix a cohesive relationship with our world.  What wil proceed each performance is a bonding with the audience and we will follow each performance with a scenario describing the intents of the players, discussing the actions and settings as well as the narration and the dialogue, with clarity.  These interactions between the members of the plaudience will revise and sharpen the intention of our group, which is to "tell the truth".

We intend to let the performances write themselves, for the most part.  Our group, Pink World, will begin with a few plays that members have written to show the plaudience just what is possible in our theatre.  [The first three plays that we will use are intitled "White Feather", "Hi Honey, I'm Home", and "Photograph This!".  Auditions have already begun and the turnout had been phenomenal.]  Everyone that we have spoken with is excited about our group's ideas, especially the fact that these performances will be FREE to the public.

You can't see the wind, but you can see what the wind has done.  Enter the hurricane.  We will make this community proud to restructure their ideals and morals with new direction.        Our voices will join together to create a new kind of theatrical experience.  Theatre is live representations of reported or invented happenings between human beings that will define the communion that we desire to illustrate for the greatest good of the community.
